Your post launched me back into the book (I, too, reread every couple years) and the melodic sensation I experienced while reading it. As an MFA student in Painting, I wrote part of my thesis on the poetic nature of To The Lighthouse. I can still recite parts of the book because I was so drawn to the sounds of the words.
